CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
HEALTH & SAFETY
We are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for our employees and visitors to our premises and to keep the number of working hours lost through health and safety incidents to a minimum.
We monitor both the number of workplace injuries and illnesses and the number of “lost-time” workplace injuries and set targets for the reduction of both. We also monitor the rates of absenteeism and the causes and take action to achieve reductions in absenteeism. Each year we report our performance and associated costs in the public domain.
Both of our UK distribution centres, for Farnell and for CPC are certified to the latest OHSAS18001:2007 standard.
